VANE Minerals confirms existence of uranium at North Wash project in Utah
LONDON (AFX) - VANE Minerals PLC confirmed the existence of uranium at the North Wash project in Utah, and said it is still looking for acquisitions and further prospective properties in the US state.
It added that drilling at North Wash has validated historic data reported by Cotter Corp in the 1970's, where drilling had returned uranium grades with an average of 0.17 pct uranium oxide radiometric equivalent diluted.
The project is being drilled by Vane Mineral's wholly owned uranium unit, Vane Minerals (US) LLC.
