Tomuro Limited informed the Company on 22 January 2009 that following acquisitions of ordinary shares ('Shares') between 15 January 2009 and 22 January 2009, it now has a beneficial interest in 9,662,596 Shares, representing approximately 5.08% of the issued ordinary share capital in VANE Minerals Plc.
