Overview
The company has been active in investigating many projects, both through the "Freeport Data Bank" and through contacts of the principals, in Central and North America.
The copper portfolio consists of a number of targets that have been identified through both the database and our contacts and are being investigated further.
The company has producing Gold/Silver assets, a wholly-owned mill, and a Merrill-Crowe cyanide leaching plant in Mexico, helping finance the group's exploration programme. The Mill has the potential for additional capacity for feed from other projects and enables the company to seek further sources of cash flow in the region.
Since December 2004, VANE has built a substantial uranium portfolio in the US, consisting of both breccia pipe and stratabound projects. VANE, at present, has a portfolio of breccia pipe and stratabound projects. Breccia pipes contain some of the highest grade uranium deposits found in the US, with grades approaching 1% U3O8. The company continues to develop and build its portfolio in this exciting area.
